On fighting death of a beloved

Yesterday, i fought with a near death experience of a beloved.
Fulbanu apa, the lady who brought me up, my guardian angel- fell terminally ill yesterday . Upon admitting in the hospital, we got to know her blood hemoglobin levels had dropped to some abysmal low level(3.2 while 12 is regular) & this caused her a heart failure. This also caused her lungs to store some water and she had immense difficulty breathing.
She immediately needed 2 things :
1)treatment to get the water out of the lungs
2)fresh bags of O positive blood, to replenish the haemoglobin & to keep the heart pumping.
Doctors started the first option immediately and gave medications to drain excess water out of her lungs & body.
But at 3:00 pm bd time of a working day at ramadan, i could not find any donors to donate blood.
Doctors gave 5 types of tests. While running from one dept. to other & hopping one hospital to other for tests & pathology reports, i was making calls for finding blood.
Fulbanu apa, had severe shortage of blood & now that the medicines were dripping water out of her body for clearing her lungs- her body started reacting aggressively- as her body lacked both blood & water. She had jitters, her hands and legs started shaking, she shouted out of pain & angst.
She needed blood immediately to save her.
But the timing was not in our favor, no one me or my family know could come before iftar for donating blood.
Doctors gave us a risk bond on that moment, that if at that moment the patient dies it shall be our liability as we couldn’t manage blood.
Every minute was a danger minute.
Amid all these i found two donors, Asif Reza & Asif Rahaman. These two brother from buet debating club came hurriedly after ifter around 7:50 pm. Bloods needed to be crossmatched and then deposited. But the guy who does crossmatch was going to tarabih prayer, but this hour an half could be life or death to my patient. Upon my request he delayed his attendance of prayer & agreed to do the test.
Both of the donors blood crossmatched. At 9:00 pm the first bag of blood was being transfused. The first couple of hours, her body was still shaking & she was delusional.
After 12:00 pm she started to calm down and the symptoms pacified. Around 1:00 am doctors said things improved and she wasnt in the brink of death anymore.
.
On the early morning of 14th may I had the most relieved sleep of my life.
